Open, inspect, and convert Parquet files

Open a Parquet file to explore its rows and columns. Need CSV? Use the batch converter to upload your files and download the results.

Local viewing and editing use bounded pages for supported file layouts. Files opened in this local viewer stay in your browser unless you choose an upload tool. CSV/JSON exports require a fully decoded table; paged views download Parquet.

  1. Choose one Parquet file
  2. Inspect, search or edit rows
  3. Download a copy or export a decoded view

Parquet file questions

Can I edit a Parquet file online?

Open a local Parquet file to inspect rows and column types and edit supported values. Larger supported flat files use paged editing. Save a new Parquet copy; schema, compression and individual page limits still apply. Search and filtering require a fully decoded table.

When can I export CSV or JSON?

Use Parquet to CSV to upload multiple files and download a CSV for each. In the viewer, CSV and JSON export is available for fully loaded tables; paged views export the full Parquet file with your supported edits.

Do I need to upload my file?

The local viewer opens files in your browser. The batch CSV converter and SQL tools upload the files you choose when you start those tasks. No signup is required.
